Using the app

VoiceBox AAC is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, and these terms add to it. You may use VoiceBox AAC on any Apple device you own or control, as the App Store allows.

VoiceBox AAC is a communication aid. It is not a medical device, and it should not be the only way someone has of asking for help in an emergency.

Your content

The sentences you build and the words you add are yours. They stay on your device, and we do not receive them or need any rights over them.

Acceptable use

Don’t copy, change, resell or redistribute the app, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows it. Don’t use VoiceBox AAC to harass, threaten or deceive anyone.

Availability and changes

We may change, add or remove features in updates. Beta versions from TestFlight are unfinished and may contain mistakes. We will try to keep VoiceBox AAC working on new versions of iOS and iPadOS, but cannot promise that it will.

Liability

VoiceBox AAC is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using it, or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protection of your own country’s consumer law.
